Terms of Service

Estimates Disclaimer

All estimates provided by Rocky’s Moving are based on information supplied by the customer and are subject to change based on actual inventory, access conditions, stairs, elevators, distance, packing requirements, wait times, or additional services requested on moving day.


Payment Terms

Payment is due in full upon completion of services unless otherwise agreed in writing. Rocky’s Moving accepts approved payment methods listed at booking. Deposits may be required for certain moves.


Returned checks, chargebacks, or unpaid balances may be subject to additional fees and collection costs.


Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

Customers are encouraged to provide at least 48 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling requests.


Deposits may be non-refundable for late cancellations, same-day cancellations, or reserved specialty services.


Damage Claims Policy

Any damage claims must be reported in writing within a specified timeframe after completion of the move.


Rocky’s Moving is not responsible for:

  • Items packed by customers
  • Pre-existing damage
  • Particle board or ready-to-assemble furniture
  • Mechanical or electronic malfunctions
  • Contents of boxes packed by customers
  • Damage resulting from improper packing by customer


Liability is limited to the valuation coverage selected by the customer and applicable California moving regulations.


High-Value Items Disclaimer

Customers are responsible for removing and transporting cash, jewelry, firearms, medications, important documents, collectibles, family heirlooms, and other irreplaceable valuables.


Rocky’s Moving is not liable for loss or damage to such items if transported by movers.


Access & Safety Conditions

Rocky’s Moving reserves the right to refuse or stop services if conditions are unsafe, hazardous, illegal, or could risk injury, property damage, or equipment damage.


Additional charges may apply for:

  • Long carries
  • Excessive stairs
  • Shuttle services
  • Difficult access
  • Delays outside company control

SMS Text Messaging Policy

​1. If you provide your mobile number, you consent to receive text messages related to estimates, scheduling, move updates, marketing and customer support.

​2. You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Just text "STOP" to the short code. After you send the SMS message "STOP" to us, we will send you an SMS message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. If you want to join again, just sign up as you did the first time and we will start sending SMS messages to you again.

​3. If you are experiencing issues with the messaging program you can reply with the keyword HELP for more assistance.

​4. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

​5. As always, message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from us and to us from you. If you have any questions about your text plan or data plan, it is best to contact your wireless provider.
