We had a very hard move during stressful circumstances including a death in the family, a surgery which delayed our ability to unpack as quickly as possible, and several other life stressors. Recently moved into a new apartment, and heard about these guys through a close friend, who spoke very highly of their work on his own move years prior. He spoke true -- friendly, incredibly efficient, very reasonably priced.

Rocky and his son Mike came by the day I reached out to take a look and offer an estimate. Rocky answered any questions I had that day and between then and the move.

Rocky's Moving did an incredible job in with an apartment move this past weekend for me and my girlfriend. Leading up to the move, Rocky was great with communicating and mapping out logistics. The property manager for our new apartment unit also noticed how professional Rocky's crew is, both in terms of their efficiency, and also how respectful they were of the property/apartment complex. I recently used Rocky's Moving for a local move of my residence in Marin County during the Covid-19 pandemic.  I could not have been more pleased in all respects.  These included:

Price:  The cost quoted was among the lowest and less than half the estimates provided by some other highly rated companies.  As importantly, the final charges were exactly what was quoted and there was never any attempt to up the price as some companies do for a few extra things that I forgot to mention.

Professionalism:  The movers were most courteous, punctual, careful, and helpful throughout the entire moving experience.  In two cases, they found pieces of my dining set and bed frame that needed minor repairs and after showing me the problems, they repaired them on their own initiative.  In addition, they allowed me time to try different locations for a large couch and a few other items and did so cheerfully.

No Damage:  All the items were moved without any resulting damage.  Several valuable and personally valued items were treated with exceptional care and professional regard and arrived in perfect condition.

In short, the entire experience far exceeded my highest expectations.  it is with great confidence that I would unreservedly recommend Rocky's Moving. --Ron L., San Anselmo, CA

We have used Rocky's Moving Services for our last two moves in Southern Marin and we highly recommend them.  Both moves have been quite difficult involving 4 bedroom homes, two refrigerators, steep uneven stairs on both sides, and narrow Mill Valley mountain roads.  Rocky responded quickly to our requests, surveyed both sites within 24 hours and provided a reasonable quote, and delivered both moves for less than his estimate.  His team was professional, courteous, and fast and they delivered and reassembled all of our precious oak furniture without a scratch.  I would not use any other moving service. --Stephen G., Mill Valley, CA

We had a great experience with Rocky and his team and highly recommend them.  We had a difficult move involving steep and precarious stairs and windy narrow roads on both ends, moving stuff out of the beach house to storage and then from Mt. Tam to Muir Beach, including a 400 pound table.  Rocky responded quickly to our request for a quote and showed up on time and in person to assess the job and provide a quote.  He was friendly and professional and quickly assessed our needs and provided a reasonable and competitive price.  He and his team arrived on schedule and efficiently moved everything from our four bedroom home to the smaller beach house without a scratch or any damage, including the 400 pound table.  Everyone was courteous and professional and exactly what you want for a difficult move.  In the end they were nearly $500 under the already competitive estimate.  I would recommend Rocky's moving for any project, large or small.--Stephen G., Mill Valley, CA
